The Workers are a four piece band that is hard to categorize. Often called bluegrass, The Workers are influenced by many genres and play shows that are hard-driving and free of setlists. The band is fronted by Trent Atkins (mandolin, banjo, guitar and vocals) and Scott Hohnstein (guitar and vocals). Sid Kaste (drums) and Bob Finnegan (upright bass) make up the rhythm section. The Workers have released two albums, Call to Order (2008) and Down the Mountain (2010). They are headed back into the studio this spring to record a third album.
