Them Rude Boys (originally Them Rude Boyz) was formed in 2010 by Kevin Mohn After meeting other musicians and jamming within a couple of months they released their first EP “ No Justice, No Peace”
After working with producer Bill Williams they came out with their first single “Rude Boy Radio”. In May 2011, they filmed their first music video for “Rude Boy Radio”. This song got some play time on... local radio station Live 105’s Sound Check. Eventually this led to them sharing the bill with bands like the “The Strokes” and “Snoop” on the sound check stage at BFD. (An annual concert held at Shoreline Amphitheater) and played a handful of dates with legendary punk rockers “Agent Orange”.
Kevin and Frank both grew up playing music and their drummer Justin came with a long history of bands and experience (The Janitors against Apartheid, American Ave, A Life in Vain and ThunderHorse) In February 2012 filmed their second music video for “R.I.P. Her” and began playing shows more frequently. TRB will be doing their first Western tour this summer during late June through early July 2012. Keep an eye/ear out for these boys they are taking the scene back one town at a time.
