Sherrie Scott / Bio

Singer/Songwriter Sherrie Scott's diverse blend of tunes takes you on a musical journey with acoustic jazz reminiscent of Billie Holiday singing in a juke joint, soulful blues that make you feel like Janis is in the room, pop/rock favorites with a unique twist from Norah, Bonnie, Sheryl Crow, Amy Winehouse, Susan Tedeschi and Lucinda Williams as well as sweeping you off your feet to Paris with some French Chanson. Her original music is rich with evocative lyrics and compelling melodies that delve deep into the matters of the human heart. Sherrie is known for her soulful, passionate vocals and dynamic stage presence. Her love of "live" performance has kept her busy for many years gracing a number of stages as both vocalist and actress in Colorado, across the US, Europe, The Virgin Islands and Central America. Her recording career includes three albums and three EP's of original music, the soundtracks for several films including the United Nations documentary film The Price of Anything in which she starred in as well as co-produced and numerous jingles for radio and TV. She is currently composing for the new film To Change the World. Scott will also debut her latest new musical comedy-drama Return of the Songbird in the coming months.
