Jacob Miller is a 23 year old country-blues and ragtime finger-style guitarist and vocalist. He plays a National NRP 14 Fret Steel Resonator, a 64 Gibson Archtop, and a 1928 May Bell parlor guitar.
Hailing from the Midwest but basing himself out of Portland, OR, he spends indefinite gaps of time traveling ’round North America. While back in the Northwest, you can find him with the Crooners, playing on the streets, in the local neighborhood tavern, and often on your porch. With guitar in hand, a bit of whiskey, and the talented accompaniment of friends often referred to as, “the fellas”…you’re more than likely to hear some hootin’ and hollering.
The talented group accompanying Miller includes Ben Bailey on washboard/vocals/kazoo, Kyle Neumann on harmonica/tenor banjo/Dobro and wooping, and last but not least Mike Team on the upright bass. These three talented folk are the Bridge City Crooners.
