Complete Radio Silence formed in the summer of 2007 when guitarists Pawel Saul and Jolyon Pagett met drummer Ruifu Wang for a drink at the Colliers Wood Tup. The union was a formidable one.
After some early line up/visa difficulties Ruifu was replaced at the stool by Darren Traynor. The addition of guitarist Paul Crane saw Jolyon move to acoustic (all be it at times distorted and wailing) guitar. With Tim Gummerall joining on bass the line-up was complete.
The result is an oscillating wave of melodic noise, moving through punchy shoegazer rock tunes into a slow rolling melee of haunting post-rock informed dirges.
Following a recent spate of shows at Cargo London and their performance in support of the Homosexuals at the celebrated Tin Pan Alley Festival the band decided to head back into the studio to finish their self-titled album. The results speak for themselves.
Complete Radio Silence are currently booking shows across the UK and Europe to promote their new Album. With almost a hundred years of collective live experience across the globe the ensuing tour will be one to be remembered.
