Christopher L. Corzo is a a self taught Miami based blues musician who focuses primarily on composing and performing. An old soul, Chris' music encompasses a variety of musical blues elements such as the growling vocal sounds of Blind Willie Johnson and the soloing strategies of Jimi Hendrix. He converged on to the Miami music scene in 2010 by opening several shows for local band The Nude Cap. He gained further acclaim by those around him by preforming traditional blues tunes such as "Dyin' Crap Shooters Blues" by Willie McTell.
Late 2010, Chris began recording songs for what would be The Sonicboomland Experience: a never released all acoustic album that drew upon all of his early rock influences. Chris later transitioned into a more rock-blues blend when formed the band The Magic City Blues in the summer of 2011 with David Nosa. Those this two piece rock band was short lived, it gained public attention for its shameless harsh blues sound. Once the band dispersed, Chris retreated to what he did best, making music.
Chris is continuously writing an recording music. As of late 2012, he began gearing his passion to the near point of fanaticism by recording and creating new tunes everyday. In addition to his music, Chris is devoted to his studies at FIU were he will graduate in the Spring of 2013 with a bachelor's in biology with a minor in chemistry.
