“It’s In My Blood” is a project from Jacob Huffman, produced and engineered by Nashville producer Jim Lightman. The project includes three singles, It’s a Party Wherever You Are (Deano Brown), Heroes (Tim Daley), and It’s In My Blood (Denny Hemingson).
Jacob Huffman, originally an Indiana native, however spent majority of his growing up years in Missouri, in a rural family. Jacob spent a lot of his younger years helping his father Steve Huffman around the farm, helping take care of livestock, and attending crops. In high school, Jacob was very involved in FFA, holding multiple offices, achieving numerous awards, and receiving several scholarships. He received the Greenhand, State, and American FFA degree.
Jacob his sophmore at State Fair Community College, switched his study from agriculture education over to general music. His interest in music had grown, and he decided to make it his major. Jacob learned about the study of commercial music from one of his musical influences, Josh Turner. Also a bit Jacob learned from Turner was the best advice he was given, was to get to Nashville. So, Jacob made it a priority to study music and get to Nashville.
Jacob Huffman now studies commercial music at Tennessee State University. He also is currently working with Nashville producer Jim Lightman. Also, to keep him busy Jacob plays regularly at the venues on Broadway downtown Nashville.
