Big Bill Taylor has blown harp at venues like downtown Chicago's Redfish, Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club on Beale Street in Memphis, Rooster's in Oxford Mississippi and has toured with music groups through Russian towns and cities along the Volga River.
Bill has developed as a one man band playing an assortment of acoustic blues ranging from classic artist like Muddy Waters and Elmore James to contemporary artist like Taj Mahal and Eric Clapton as well as his own originals. His rhythmic guitar playing and foot drumming is matched with his bluesy harp style and soulful vocals.
Currently performing around the Central Indiana area as a blues duo with master percussionist Matt Taylor providing a rocking acoustic blues experience with a world beat. Bill also plays with the local Indianapolis Roots/Rock/Blues group "Saints and Strangers
