In the summer of 2006 five local musicians started writing songs in the boonies of Monroe, LA. The band started playing through out Monroe & Shreveport, LA, Cabot & Hot Springs, AR & Texarkana. The band released a five song EP produced by Roshto Studios in Aug 2006. Soon the band had opened for The Showdown, War of Ages, and Twelve Gauge Valentine in their hometown of Monroe, LA.
Once the band solidified their line-up, they began destroying stages all over the south. Spazz Magazine describes their live show as “A pure tribal force that demands the crowd to move the venue”. The Heritage’s southern party sound and brutal live shows caught the attention of underground metal audiences everywhere they played. After signing with the Tina Post Booking agency, The Heritage began focusing on spreading the Southern hardcore gospel across the lands.
With a new album being tracked & a tour booked for later this year, The Heritage is as solid as it ever has & looks forward towards the future.
