The Wild West Show is a unique blend of vast experience and young energy. Country roots and some blues and rock on top. A strong foundation built by Artamus Gordon on bass and Marty Carpenter on drums offers the professionalism and knowledge of 20+ years each, on the road working in all types of venues and music.
Artamus Gordon has been playing with and fronting the best country bands in The San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas for many years as well as writing songs in multiple genres, composing symphonies and over a dozen pieces of ragtime for piano.
Tina Starr on acoustic guitar and the lead vocalist is new to the live music scene though she's been singing all her life. She was a Colgate Country Showdown finalist and won the Female Vocalist Contest at The Rodeo Club in San Jose, CA, in addition to many others. Miss Starr brings the strong vocals and confidence only developed over time but with the enthusiasm and energy of someone new to the stage. She recently started writing her own songs including crowd-pleaser, Frisky On The Whiskey which was her first.
Though many of the band members have experienced the creativity and precision of recording before, the band is writing original material which has met with much commercial appeal so they're working on their first CD together. This is a "Show" not to be missed!
