From northeast Alabama, Denise played her first tune on piano at the age of 5 and by the time she was a teenager, she was playing piano at a little country church as well as writing songs. Her influences range from Kenny Hinson, Dottie Rambo, and Gerald Crabb to Merle Haggard, Don Williams, Dolly Parton, and Shania Twain. Every now and then she performs her own songs but she considers herself to be more of a writer than a performer so the songs posted here will either be performed by cowriters or demo singers.
