When Zakk Gallows started playing country music in the suburbs of Detroit, he was told by a member of Lucky Tubb and the Modern Day Troubadours that he had the potential to become the Honky Tonk King Of Detroit. Since that day, he has played all sorts of venues and is slowly climbing the ladder to revive country music to what it used to be. He tries to stick Original and Traditional with all of his lyrics but cannot help but throw in the alternative, rough and rowdy edge to anything he writes and plays. If you love the rough side of Honky Tonk or are a fan of Roots and Punk Rock...Zakk Gallows will be scraping it up.
