Ryan Harris Brown / Bio

Scranton, Pa. native and Berklee College of Music graduate Ryan Harris Brown moved to Nashville in the spring of 2012 with the intention of sharing his thoughtful lyrics and classic musicianship with the country’s best eyes and ears.

In that time, so much has changed. But Ryan’s passion for delivering relatable, provoking songs has not. His 2011 release “The Trail,” available through iTunes, gives listeners fresh insight into love, loss and the uncertainty of life’s journey. The songs make up an intimate stage show featured at the likes of Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA, The Basement in Nashville, TN, Ebenezer's Coffee house in Washington D.C., and other venues throughout the north and southeast.

Ryan is currently at work on his next record which will pay homage to the singers and songwriters that built the foundation for the genre; the comfort and subtlety of James Taylor, the power and reliability of Carole King. Working with fellow Berklee graduate Gus Berry, who produced the most recent Liz Longley record, it promises to pick up where “The Trail” left off.
