"Get hot or go home" was the unofficial "motto" of the Jackson, TN music scene back in the late 40s to mid 50s. It meant if you were not inspiring enough people to dance, you would stay home until you were. Now, with a mindset rooted back in mid 50s hillbilly swing and rockabilly with a healthy dose of early 60s surf and a dash of punk rock to give it some drive, Taylor Russell and Kevina Green present Get Hot or Go Home. Current influences include Reverend Horton Heat, Stray Cats, Gene Vincent, Dick Dale, Pine Hill Haints, Wayne Hancock, early Wanda Jackson, Megan Jean and the KFB, Dead Kennedys and Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star. Both Chattanooga natives, these two hope to bring their love of roots music to the clubs, dance halls and theatres all around the country and eventually the world. They hope to see you there soon.
