Fontella duvall chapman A.K.A rapper Yung Skoob (born Sept 10,1981)is an american rapper. When he was 7 he start owning his rap skills and doing local talent shows that would soon lead him to start following his dream. Being active in every thing as a youngster such as sports, music, and art eventually landed skoob a basketball scholarship at HCC (Hutchinson Community College). Troubled by off the court issues his second year , skoob was sideline permanetly and served a year in jail. It was there were he learned to compose and write full songs.
Released in 2002 Yung skoob soon moved to K.C. to pursue his music career. In 2008 he and childhood friend Derrick Triscornia Founded Record label Pyrex K.I.D.Z. Releasing his first mixtape titled "No Cheap Talk Vol.1" Yung skoob generated a nice buzz that would earn him radio play locally and get him attention of major label sony bmg. Turning down the offer skoob continued his grind and released a few more mixtapes, in late 2008 he released his second mixtape with label mate Bone locc Titled, " Pyrex Vision Still in the Kitchen". Not receiving the attention it should have received skoob wasted no time releasing his next mixtape which was titled "No Cheap talk Vol.2" with features from major artist such as Nipsey Hussle and The Menace of Blackwallstreet on his hit single "K.C. to L.A.", skoob soon gained local superstardom and a slew of local shows lined up around K.C. and surrounding areas.
Wanting more than local recognition Yung Skoob soon released a fourth mixtape titled "Microwave Boy'z" which is one of the hottest mixtapes in the streets of Kansas city and surrounding areas. With the group consisting of Yung Skoob, Yung Rude, and Sonnie one this mixtape is a sure classic track for track this could land the pyrex kidz were they've been striving to get...Amen.
