Guerrilla World Order / Bio

Following the path of legends like: “Rage Against the Machine”, “Linkin Park”, and “Limp Bizkit”, Atlanta GA based GWO (Guerrilla World Order) creates a true synergy between the worlds of Rock and Hip Hop.
The multicultural, socially, and politically conscious GWO is bridging the gap between genres and drawing respect from both the Hip Hop and Rock communities. GWO can be found performing for the most discerning Rock or Hip Hop audiences, receiving acclaim wherever they go.
Formed in late 2011 when Bassist and primary songwriter “Dick Black”, had become increasingly dissatisfied performing in the rock circuit. Knowing that his playing and songwriting styles demanded a return to his diverse musical roots, which had become defined while working with some of the top bands, studios, and producers in Philadelphia, PA, before relocating to Atlanta.
Dick Black recruited drummer "Greg Washington", who's accomplishments as a drummer are too long to list.
After several auditions came vocalist “Jake Couch". Jake’s ability to sing big Hip Hop and Rock hooks and scream guttural enough to impress the most diehard Metal fans was the perfect fit for the direction GWO was headed.
Since then GWO has truly created a unique sound and approach for their music. Breaking barriers, pushing the envelope, and brutal honesty is the norm for this band. They liken themselves to a Beastie Boys with a chip on their shoulder.
Their Music: HeavyGhetto HipRock
Their philosophy: If you’re sick of Rappers talkin’ about money they don’t really have and Rockers talkin’ about strippers they don’t really know… then welcome to GWO.
