Deleo is a master of improvisational Jazzfusion, Neo Soul & Hip Hop violin. Though his work draws upon a wide range of musical influences--including Hip Hop, R&B, NeoSoul, and Gospel he has crafted a signature voice and style. Through artistry with an instrument that has been defined predominantly by the classical tradition; Deleo is pioneering new possibilities for the violin and for the neo/soul,hip hop generes while,creating his own unique sound by a contemporary fusion of classical style with jazz, R&B, hip hop and gospel.
Among Deleo's many credits he has a recording housed in the National Archives in Washington DC as the violin soloist in the musical Elmer Gantry and has performed with legendary artist Stevie Wonder, Marie Osmond, and toured with the late Barry White on his Final Tour. Additionally Deleo has performed throughout the DMV area at venues such as Busboys and Poets all locations, Eatonville, The National Harbor. One of the biggest highlights thus far performing at one of President Obama's Inaugural. Balls. Deleo's repertoire includes covering some of his most favorite mainstream artist such as Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Paul Dateh, Jill Scott, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Beyonce, Maxwell, Floetry, Jeff Lorber, Incognito, Maysa, Noel Pointer, Ledisi, Gerald Albright, Janet Jackson, Ciara, Alicia Keys, the Roots, Jay Z, Down to the Bone, Bruno Mars, Marsha Ambrosius, Earth Wind and Fire, James Fortune, Mary Mary, Wale, as well as original compositions. Presently, Deleo is working with LA producer Andrae Alexander on his Freshman Cd solo project.
