Eric Casey and Jenny Mirabella became friends, while they both worked at a lousy call center job, selling satellite television. They conceptualized Vice & Vanity in order to showcase their unique talents as self taught musicians.
Originally armed only with Jenny's acoustic Ovation, they did not let the lack of equipment deter them. Instead they relied on contagious songwriting, heart felt lyricism, and an entertainingly fun stage presence to deliver their songs. Through a chance meeting at Ch. 15 TV studios, the duo then added percussionist - filmmaker Lavon ' Rasta Von' Jones to the mix. This catapulted Vice & Vanity into a full fledged roots rock band. They successfully captured their unique funky vibe on their debut album "All Summer In a Day". They are currently working on their second album tentatively entitled "Vishnu's Dance".
