Described as a "creepy, sexy delight," Sons of Providence is dark, heavy, and strikingly unique! Grasping the attention of all within sensory range, with a sound and style eclectically their own, the music is intense and their live shows are of pure madness. In their first year alone, Sons of Providence were hand-picked to open for international touring acts including Buckethead, Agent Orange, The Super-Suckers, and The Quakes.
In 2011, after a few years backing various touring bands throughout the United States, front-man Memphis Roarke set out to Phoenix, AZ to reveal his own sound upon the world. Randy Cunningham quickly stepped up to fill the position of guitarist and the two began to form the Sons of Providence sound. With a rotation of drummers on hand, they set out to the stages in January 2012 and stunned the crowd before them. A year on and many shows down, full-time drummer Zebulon Jessup was recruited and the band was made whole. With a cult following established and growing, the march of the Sons of Providence on the world has begun!
