The Jason Sees Band is a West Seattle based indie quintet that tours regionally around the Pacific Northwest, combining songwriter foundations, rock hall rhythms, and catchy lead guitar riffs in a hard to pinpoint genre that reminds us of a concoction of Bob Schneider, Counting Crows, & a shot of top shelf tequila.
After working for 2 years on his first album "My View", Jason Sees released his sophmore album in May of 2012. "A New Perspective" has proven to be a significant step-up in musical composition and production quality.
Originally a military pilot by trade, Jason’s exposure to war time environments is a direct influence on his writing. However, Jason Sees' lyrical composition can be quantified and identified by anyone looking for riveting musical endeavors.
Jason creates music that is acoustic, yet electric, organic, but progressive. He covers a wide range of genres while maintaining a central theme and focus.
In August 2012, Jason linked up with established rhythm section David Campbell (drums) and Shaun O'Neill (bass). Lead guitarist Dave King joined in early 2013 and immediately found his place, rounding out the sound and adding a depth and dimension that was absent on prior albums. The quintet began writing as a group and hit the streets of Seattle running.
Jason Sees Band is currently recording its third album at Orbit Audio in Seattle, WA. With the experience of Joe Reinke handling the production, "A Single Frame Passing Through the Light" is poised to be a 2014 indie breakout album.
