Stella Royale's sound consists of an acoustic Euro-Folk style with a combination of Americana, undertones of shoe-gazer and a nod to Spaghetti Western with influences such as Tom Waits, Devotchka, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Pixies, Yo La Tengo, The Shins, and many more.
For the past 6 months Stella Royale has been recording their next album in "The Bani-Love" studio in Seattle WA with local legend producer/engineer Gary Mula (famous for his work at The Dutchman Studios, Seattle WA.), flying back & forth from San Francisco to lay tracks for their latest CD!
S.R. has also just recently finished recording a cover song of "I wanna be your boyfriend" that will be released on a Ramones tribute album this Fall on New York label; Acoustic Fury Records, as well as a 7" vinyl single split with Pop's (San Francisco) AND a new song on a compilation CD "Son Of Hollow Body Havok" (Acoustic Fury Records, NY)!!!
