Joel Rosenberger plays the old stuff...hymns and folk tunes, and traditional music that predates the 20th century. It all started back around 2005-2006, when Joel decided to plug his piano into his PC, perform some old hymns, and release his recordings as a podcast. Due to the unexpected international response, he kept at it, releasing several CDs, as well as sheet music, and the rest is history. Today he continues to find new ways to play the old tunes.
When Joel isn't recording, he enjoys playing music at his little church in the Saratoga Springs, New York area, just shy of the Adirondacks. He also picks the Irish tenor banjo and squeezes the accordion, and can often be found with other musicians playing traditional music around town.
