Brooke is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter whose song lyrics reflect real life situations. She was recently nominated for three 2012 Charlotte Music Awards: Country, Women in Country, and Women in Rock. Brooke is the winner of the Paramount Group Songwriting Contest Director's award, and the 93.1 the Wolf Moment of Greatness. "I started playing the guitar when I was eight years old, and writing when I was twelve. Music isn't about the money or the fame, it's about making a difference. That is what I truly want to do."
Brooke has played at numerous venues and festivals all over North Carolina, and performs every chance she gets to share her God-given talent to write songs with others. "It's all about the music and the impact it can have on someone. The power of music is amazing. I just want to play." In May of 2012 Brooke formed a band, and began to expand her tour to Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia. She is about to go back into the studio to record a new album set to release late 2012/early 2013.
