In late 2011, she independently released her first EP, Me Without You, which reached number 8 on the iTunes Top Blues Albums chart.
“Somethin’ Funny Goin’ On,” the final track on the effort, won the Vox Pop (fan’s choice) for Best Blues Song in the 2013 Independent Music Awards.
“It's all about the blues … graceful, soulful, powerful, and range defying are just several descriptions that come to mind concerning Amanda's vocal technique.” – Peter “Blewzzman” Lauro, Mary4Music.com
Currently, Amanda is working on a new project called The Sanctuary Sessions. Recording one tune at a time at the West Nashville studio The Sanctuary, the focus is on fully realizing each song without limitation to any one genre, band, or production style. The first single, “Real Thing,” was recorded live with a ten-piece band, and released in March 2013 along with a music video capturing the session. The song was featured on AmericanSongwriter.com as a Daily Discovery.
Amanda has been a guest of the Mando Blues Radio show in Nashville TN, and has gotten airplay on other blues programs and radio stations across the U.S. and in Europe. She has performed at local events such as Musician’s Corner, and in venues in Nashville and Memphis, TN.
