Lost Indian is Southern-Gothic, old-time indie, bluesy country. Here's how it started: Everyone moved in together into a one-bedroom apartment over a pool hall, started playing music, and Lost Indian was formed. After their first tour with The Galt Line, the band perfected an album's-worth of songs. They recorded their first self-titled album at Studio 808A, a giant wooden house in Floyd, Virginia. It took 13 hours. Joe Bass recorded, fed the band, and mastered the final product. Lost Indian has played all over the east coast, mostly with their "sister-band", The Judy Chops.
