AC, is one of the hottest up and coming young artists today. Most artists have one particular type of music but not him, as he works with everything from techno, to hip-hop, and even lays a verses on an R&B tracks. After multiple attempts of trying to break into working in the music industry he decided to follow his dreams at the young age of 21 and moved to Boston, MA. Here he teams up with his manager/engineer Nik and Echo Recording Studios to bring top of the line work everytime.
He later returned to Rhode Island where he joined his closest friends hip-hop based group called “1 Lyfe.” Even though the group only lasted a little over two years in his still very early career the list of accomplishments are endless. Including radio play all over the country from stations like Boston’s #1 For Hip-Hop and R&B Jamn 94.5, the University of Connecticut (radio), 95.5 WBRU, and many more radio stations. He has performed all over in places like The Connley Theatre and Websters Hall in New York, colleges in New Hampshire, throughout clubs in Providence, RI, Boston, MA, and many more.
With his style of recording using metaphors he has claimed the nickname the “Punchline Ali.” However recording music is not only his passion as he works as a DJ also. He DJ’ed every mixtape in his former group, and now has a very popular mixtape series “Cooler Than You.” This features the likes of artists from Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Drake, Andre 3000, and many more. Thats not the end of it though, he does more, as a long-term goal of writing songs for R&B and Hip-Hop artists already in the music industry as well as up and comers.
After the fall-out with the group AC linked up with his good friend and now manager Nik and released remixes to Frank Ocean’s, Novacane and Bruno Mars’ Lazy Song which got radio plays at both North Eastern University and Rhode Island College. More recently he dropped his mixtape "Kool People Vol. 1" which he adds his own dimension to some of the hottest songs out right now while leaving a taste of his own tracks with originals like "Gotta Go" and "Im Kool". As well as working on videos for these tracks as well.
Large success at a young age would make most other musicians stop working as hard or let it goto their head. Not AC, he still works hard in the studio working with all types of artists as he prepares his next mixtape set to be released midway through 2013. Stay tuned AC is here to stay and will stop at nothing to become a force and at the forefront of the music industry.
