I started playing guitar at age 5. My first song was Batman! lol My brother showed me how to play in a little back laundry room in Welland Ontario. The second song he taught me was the rythm to Johnny B Good :) I think he taught me that so he could have someone to play the rythm while he played the lead. He also taught me various chords and we played together for most of our young years.
I then started playing for friends and the really hot lifeguards at the local pool with my best friend Tracy. I went thru the high school band era and ended up joing the Military in 85 and kind of lost touch with playing guitar until I wrote a song "Forever You" for family friends who lost their daughter to a drunk driver. They loved the song! *phew* Thank goodness.
It wasn't until years later that I bought another guitar ... around 2006 I think. Pretty much had to teach myself all over again and decided to write my own stuff.
Years have passed and Tracy joined me as Original T's full time, long distance bassist. After many instrument, hardware and software upgrades thanks to the great advice of my brother-in-law Robb, here we are today.
Thanks for reading.
Peace ... OT
