Hello. My name is Luke and I have an innate fear of writing biographies so apologies if I ramble. I am responsible for the noise on this profile.
I started playing the guitar as a plucky five year old and began writing original music when I realised that...well...I could. It was probably a few years later when it occurred to me that other people may actually *like* what I was doing so between that point and this I have worked with many great (and some down right lazy..a few borderline alcoholic) musicians/vocalists who have helped me to realise my music/songs by sprinkling them with their talents.
The lovely female vocal you hear on some of these tracks is provided by Cristy-Lee Snashall and it was always a real thrill when I would play her a basic song/melody and she would provide a beautiful harmony to it within minutes that would make the song sound twice as good as I thought it could and then there were those songs which didn't sound quite right with my vocal so she would take the lead and surprise me all over again.
The band settled in London for a few years (the pinnacle of which was getting to play The Astoria - RIP) and since then I have relocated to Manchester and Cristy-Lee, Al Boley (bass and bewildering technical knowledge) and I attempt to play and record new stuff whenever we can.
I told you I might ramble.
I hope you enjoy the songs.
