Straight outta West Philly, MAD (also known as T. Moore) started rapping by accident - due to his cousin (D ''Boogie" Howard, formerly of 40 dawg emcees) pushing him onto the stage after hearing he was secretly writing rhymes. It was a rap battle, and MAD was victorious!!
Later, he came to master his craft during his high school years, tearing down the lunchroom alongside of "Philly legends" such as Dice Raw (of MMJB's), and several other great talents!! "My first shows I did were with Mike Knox, and emcees like Jakk Frost & Gillie was on the bill" explains an excited MAD!! "Looking back now, I was always surrounded by alot of heat. I was just glad to be there - hangin with the best of em"!!
After school, he would record songs with ShuBaby Montez music publishing (and still does, to this day), and play them for cats like Steady B, as well as The Man they call Lux!!
Once he got enough okays from the hood, it was time for the live shows!! "I've opened for Public Enemy, Mobb Deep, Lords of the underground, Da Youngstas & Wu Tang Clan"!! "Shout out to Bobby Dance for introducing me to the radio game, and puttin us on when no one wouldn't!! "Shout out to Lady B, Golden Boy, Cosmic Kev & Q Deezy"!!
Greek picnic (not gonna say the year), headlined the main event @ God's blackhouse w/ Major Figgaz & Rasheed Wallace (which is also a member of 100X). "Im a big part of the Philly rap scene, just on the underground level"!! "There is not alot of rappers in Philly that don't know or heard of me in some shape or fashion"!! "And I'm still here, try me"!!
