Craig Conley is a Dallas based singer-songwriter and instrumentalist who largely attributes his early interest in songwriting and music to his fascination with the Beatles. "After I heard them I had a deeper respect for music and what could be done through it. That's when I was first motivated to create something myself."
Craig grew up in a small town in East Texas where opportunities to perform were limited. After high school he moved to Dallas and started The Haight Ashbury Band. They spent several years playing in the Deep-Ellum district and around the Dallas area. The band released an EP and one full length album before splitting up in 2009.
Following the breakup Craig began to write and perform primarily as a solo artist. In 2011, he traveled to El Paso, TX to record the material for his first solo album. Later that year "Science To The Highest Bidder" was released to be sold at local record stores and made available for download through iTunes and other online retailers.
Craig now performs either on his own, acoustically or accompanied by a small band. The material consists of a mixture of originals and classic cover songs.
