Deb Felz's ability to convey thoughtful, poignant ideas in a catchy and lively musical form stems from a lifetime passion for songwriting and music. The Washington, D.C.-based (and Chicago-bred) singer-songwriter emphasizes creative lyrics and acoustic melodies. Her music is reminiscent of a diverse group of artists such as Alanis Morrisette, Counting Crows, Jack Johnson and the Indigo Girls, while still containing a unique flavor that is all her own. Her heartfelt alto voice drives her soulful and powerful lyrics home.
The Deb Felz Band has played top venues such as Bangkok Blues in Virginia, Wonderland Ballroom in Washington, D.C., and Arlene's Grocery in New York City, and at major festivals such as the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
Together with Joshua Klein on keyboards and Dan Kapner on percussion, this vibrant young artist and her critically-acclaimed band is quickly becoming a force on the East Coast stage.
