The Life Review / Bio

The Life Review is modern-alternative rock band from Baltimore, Maryland and started in the Spring of 2011. With a few line up changes and organized practices, they started with a 25 minute set. They played to a sold out crowd March 15th 2012 at The Ottobar in Baltimore, MD. After consistenly playing more venues and drawing larger and larger crowds, they had realized that people liked what they were doing and decided to pursue this to the end. The guys recorded two singles
("Endless Night", "Snake Skin") at Amped Recording in Lutherville, Maryland with producer Greg Parker. The singles received highly favorable reviews from friends and family to others in Europe and South America. Joe(Singer/Guitarist) also performed a cover of 30 Seconds to Mars' "Hurricane" which has reached almost 100,000 views on YouTube and has gained much popularity in the world demographic. Since then they are finishing up a self-titled ep due out April 23rd 2013. The ep was engineered and mixed by All Time Low producer, Paul Leavitt. Other notable acts that the band has and will be sharing the stage with again are He is Legend, Further Seems Forever, Hawthorne Heights and Batimore's own Charm City Devils. The band offers a 3 guitar, 3 vocalist blend of moving hooks with a twist of influences from the likes of Anberlin, Thrice, Incubus, Muse and Deftones.

Joe Bell(Guitar/Vocals), Matt Gilbert(Guitar/Vocals), Mike Bragg(Guitar Vocals), Ryan Smith(Bass) and Todd Wallace(Drums) are the makeup of the band. Coming from other local acts in Baltmore, they had wanted to start something new and a little different but still write with a solid foundation. Their music is usually described "as if I'm marching into battle during every track.".
