Mary Beth Campbell / Bio

Mary Beth Campbell is an acclaimed, award winning and published songwriter. She currently performs with the group MARY BETH AND FRIENDS, which consists of Mary Beth; Chris Campbell (Mary Beth's husband), well known as a stand-up bass player throughout the Southeast, and who plays stand-up bass and harmonica for the group; and Musician/Songwriter, Sean Curran, classically trained as a violinist, and who plays fiddle and guitar with the group. As a group, they perform a spirited mix of original songs, which blend Americana, Folk, Bluegrass and Country styles. Mary Beth also writes songs specifically about Florida. The group has performed multiple times at the Florida Folk Festival, they have performed at various Barberville, Florida Festivals, The Will McLean Festival (Mary Beth tied for First Place as “Best Newcomer” in @2005), Fodor’s Grove, The Yalaha Bakery, Olivia’s in Eustis, Florida, and many other venues in Central Florida as well as venues in Maggie Valley and Old Fort, North Carolina.

Mary Beth has one CD titled DREAMERS AND DREAMS where she performs 12 of her original songs. Three of her original songs have been recorded by Pamela Jennings. Also, a Christmas song, COUNTRY CHRISTMAS, co-written by Mary Beth, has been used in live performances at Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida.
