Ragweed started in a basement in 1993 as a poor attempt at punk rock. Nearly two decades later, the band remains the same; a poor attempt at punk rock in a basement.
They like to party. They like to sing (badly). But most importantly, they like to shred. The fast melodies and often funny lyrics say "Fuck You" to pop punk and popular music.
The sound is somewhere between Guttermouth and Bad Religion, but not as good. And way drunker.
Ragweed knows how to have a good time, which is apparent when watching them work up a sweat live. The high energy performance and the not-so-serious nature of the tunes always make for good entertainment.
So check out Pittsburgh's own Ragweed. They are still playing, right? Anyone? Hello?
