Candice Hill was born in St. Louis, MO and grew up in Columbia, MO, and graduated from Columbia Hickman High School. She went on to Missouri State University. After seeing Liam Teague perform live, she decided she wanted to go to Northern Illinois University to get her Masters degree in Music Performance on Steel Pan. After studying with Liam Teague and Cliff Alexis, she moved back to Missouri to spread the word and help promote the legitimacy of the steel pan as a concert instrument.
Candice has performed in Trinidad with Skiffle Bunch in 2006 Panorama, and has performed as a guest artist in Missouri. She teaches and performs steel pan and percussion around Kansas City.
