Jason Rexrode was born in Atlanta, Ga. in June of 1970 and adopted by JoAnn and Ron Rexrode. Jason was raised in the D/FW area of Texas. He developed a love for music at a very early age. He began playing guitar and bass at age 12. At the age of 16, Jason performed regularly with the Collin County Repertory Theater. He was in many stage productions, most notably "God-spell and Best Little Whore House in Texas." Through the years he was in many bands covering many genres of music. Malachi, Dalliance, Glass Hammer, Ariel, and Black Horse are some of the bands in which Jason performed. The most notable and successful band was SOUTHERN DRAW. Jason is a singer/song writer. He has toured the southern states and had great success in his band Southern Draw. Jason has been featured on the Cable Public Access Channel 32 on the series "Fort Worth Music Scene." Jason did bass work on the Clint Moody album released in 2010. Jason was nominated in 2007 and 2008 for the "TERRY AWARDS" "Bass Player of the Year" and Southern Draw was nominated those same years for "Club Band of the Year." Jason was signed to a contract in June of 2011 with URC. You can see Jason perform weekends at the Black Horse Saloon, in Fort Worth Texas.
