Zack Redman, 20 year old Hip-Hop Artist based out of Victoria B.C. After recovering from a broken home I got into Hip-Hop. I started writing rap music in 2009 high school classes all through grade 9 and started recording myself through a pair of iPod headphones into an app. Soon following i had my 8 gig iPod full of my own music. In the August of 2011 I dropped out of school and I was discovered by now Manager who with a mic, a labtop and a dream we started recording in a 25'' x 25'' garage in my backyard. We founded the our logo and following "Penthousen" (PH) after a simple concept, if we can turn a shack in my backyard filled with a couple couches and a table and mentally turn it into a penthouse suite then we can do anything. The whole idea is you can take any environment your in whether you live in a residential home or a beaten down car that you can turn it into a top floor penthouse suite. We were doing good making music and just being kids but unfortunately the drugs soon followed. I fell into cocaine, and quickly it became a problem. Soon after the release of my first mixtape "Metaphor In Itself" I found myself in hospital after a 5 day binge with doctors saying I overdosed. After that I decided to turn my life around and completely devote my life to music as a form of coping and rehabilitation. I live and breathe music and after collecting myself and putting my focus back on rap I released my second mixtape "Audio Artwork" through DatPiff. I also got the attention Hugo The Boss Promotion & Marketing who took me in, are putting me on their "It Is What It Is" mixtape and send me amazing opportunities daily. Since then iv been watching the numbers on the Youtube account grow and making music. In December 2012 I went on a 15 day USA tour playing in 12 different cities within that time, returning home (Victoria BC) to a sold out crowd to kick off the New Year (2013). With my first solo album set to drop in 2014 I see big things ahead!
