Coming off their win for Best Country Act at the 2010 Toronto Independent Music Awards, the band continues to be in demand to bring its high-energy show to appreciative audiences and a growing fan base. They do this by maintaining a very busy performing schedule in the club and festival circuit. The band has had the pleasure of supporting such major acts as: Toby Keith, Big & Rich, Blue Rodeo, Blake Shelton,Emerson Drive, Doc Walker, Aaron Pritchett, The Roadhammers, Travis Tritt, Terri Clark, Julian Austin, Jamie Warren, Johnny Reid, Doc Walker, George Canyon, Beverly Mahood, & Tara Oram.
RJB has been selected to perform at Canadian Music Week in Toronto Ont. 2011, 2012 & 2013!! . They performed to an amazing crowd at The Cadillac Lounge in 2011, and 2012, and made a ton of new fans, and friends. They can't wait for this years performance! Also, The River Junction Band performed at the very first “Lucknowʼs Music In The Fields” in 2009, and were asked BACK for the 3rd annual, 2011 show, and then AGAIN in 2012, being billed as this festivals " House Band"! With its busy schedule, it's wondered how the band found time to record a debut EP at EMAC Recording studios in London Ontario. The effort was produced by Robert Nation, and it garnered airplay at numerous stations in Canada and the United States. On-air interviews followed, and the EP sold briskly at RJB shows and on I-Tunes. RJB released their next project, with Mr. Moe Berg producing, This was a 3 song EP, and has had Canadian and European airplay, with several on air interviews as well. The River Junction Band is honored in being perennially nominated, and winning an award for "Most Popular Country Act" by Scene Magazine readers. They won, "Best Country" act at the 2010 Toronto Independent Music Awards. RJB was asked back to the TIMA Awards Show in 2012 to perform a few songs. The most rewarding moments for the band are when they are on stage getting the audience rockinʼ, and creating new fans along the way. RJB has grown its reputation as a solid live act and they absolutely love to hit the stage.
