The MOONLIGHT HOWLERS are an amazing Rockabilly family trio out of Williams Arizona. Their love of old 50's Rock-n-Roll and Honky Tonk came from their grandfather, who still comes to their shows. High Octane best describes the music and the performance of the MOONLIGHT HOWLERS. Their stage show includes a blast of dance music, with a mix of originals and selected covers. The band
plays a fusion of old style Rockabilly with Jazz, Blues and Swing. With just a three piece band they achieve an amazing sound, always fun and entertaining. Raffael "Bones" Weatherly, on a 1939 German doghouse bass, is 22 years old. He swings, spins, stands, and lights the bass on fire. He even plays with his feet, all of which is always a crowd favorite. His baby sister Ariel "SIREN" Weatherly is 20 years old. She plays on a 1955 Slingerland drum set. She is the kitten to watch, and wait til you hear her voice!!!! Tory "LEE TERROR" Putman is their cousin who rocks it on a Gretsch guitar, his vocals have been compared to Elvis meets Johnny Cash.
They are proud to have share the stage with artist such as Wanda Jackson, Big Sandy,The Misfits, Creepshow, Koffin Kats, Voodoo Swing, The Quakes, and 3 bad Jacks only to name a few. The bands schedule for the 2011 year include The Hellbilly Rebel Festival in San Diego, California. The Rockabilly Reunion Festivals in Lake Havasu, Tempe, Reno Nevada, and Huntington Beach California. The High Mountain Music Festival 2011 in Pine Top, Arizona, along with Viva Las Vegas Weekender 15, coming April 2012. They have performed at many Arizona venues, such as the Flagstaffs Monte Vista, The Green Room, and Orpheum Theater to various venues in Phoenix, Tucson, throughout California and the Great Northwest.
They are very dedicated musicians . The band has just relently completed their album which will be ready for release in August 2011, and they are busy finishing their first music video, to be released later this year.
