Mr. Challenger has been entertaining crowds with his electrifying voice for over ten years. He has been the lead vocalist and songwriter for the Royalty Band which is based in the Tri-State area. Mr. Challenger hails a very versatile reputation musically, as he can often transform vocally , ranging with songs from many genres of music like Reggae , Hip Hop but elevating in his unique style in *Bouyon and Soca music.
Mr. Challenger holds an array of accomplishments having delivered performances on many grand stages in the US ( Virgina Carnival, Boston Carnival, Houston Carnival, Jersey City Carnival, Washington D.C Carnival ), Canada ( Toronto Carnival ), Tortola Carnival, St. Thomas Carnival - sharing a stage with the likes of Beenie Man and Jam Band. In his homeland of Dominica, along with his band Royalty Band, Mr. Challenger helped open one of the biggest festivals, The World Creole Music Festival.
Currently Mr. Challenger is seeking to work on a solo project. Having been inspired by great Caribbean artists like local group Bells Combo from Mahaut, Dominica, W.C.K ( the pioneers of Bouyon music ), Exile One, he took his talent to a different level . His love for reggae stems from listening to music by Bob Marley, Buju Banton and Sizzla. There's no doubt that Mr. Challenger is universally in tune with music having been also inspired by Michael Jackson, LL Cool J, Cold Play, Kassav and Burning Flames. Of most recent, he has developed an extra passion for Soca music.
Mr. Challenger hopes to develop a successful solo career channeling his blend of Soca and Bouyon music,internationally. Working hard on his new solo album, he hopes to make popular, the name Mr. Challenger!!!! So look out for him...
