Robby Parker / Bio

Robby Parker - Vocalist / Guitarist- Born in Covington, Ga on July 19th, 1975. Robby developed a love for country music and started singing at an early age. He would always try to imitate artists heard on the radio. With major influences including: Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and many, many more. Robby is a co-founding member of a local country band along with songwriter and guitar player Jay Page, called Covington Highway that was formed in 1996. With a profound country / southern rock vocal style and excellent musicianship, Covington Highway went on to win a televised battle of the bands competition at the Georgia International Horse Park in 1998. Robby has been a lead singer and guitar player in a number of other country and rock bands throughout the years and has won numerous other band competitions. Most recently in 2012, Robby was nominated for Best Male Artist at the Georgia Country Awards and is also a 94.9FM The Bull "Backyard Country" artist. Be on the lookout in 2013 for Robby to hit a town near you.
