Leanne Pearson has been described by industry folk as level headed, mature, sweet, funny and very talented. This 24-year-old country rocker walks on stage with a pretty dress and a big smile, than shatters your expectations as she tears up the stage with her captivating and energetic stage presence.
Passionately singing and performing since the age of four, Leanne obtained stage experience quite early. She was in musical theatre for eight years beginning at the age of seven.
Leanne’s debut album “Serendipity” was released in January 2013. Her second single, “Get Outta My Heart” was added by radio stations across the country with high praise. It hit Top 48 on the Country Music charts. Currently, Country Music Television (CMT) is playing Leanne’s debut music video for “Get Outta My Heart”. You may remember seeing a girl sneak into a hockey dressing room and put crazy glue in a mouth guard, well… that’s Leanne.

In June 2012, Leanne was crowned the winner of the annual Talent Contest at Dauphin’s Country Fest. Most recently, Leanne was a Top 6 finalist in Country Music Television’s (CMT’s) "Big In A Small Town". Leanne made her first appearance on CMT in 2009 on “Karaoke Star”. She was as a top ten finalist for Winnipeg, then based on fan votes was chosen as the winner for Winnipeg. Leanne advanced to the National Top Ten Finale, which was where she met her now manager Aaron Pritchett.
If anyone thinks Leanne is limited to only being talented at music, they are wrong. In April 2011, Leanne graduated with a B.A. from the University of Manitoba, where she is on the Dean’s Honour List. Leanne majored in Psychology. Leanne not only has brains, beauty and musical talent, she is also one tough cookie with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Leanne also ran track with The University of Manitoba Bison’s for several years during her University career.
Whether she is singing at Rossbrook House or playing sports with The Big Brothers and Sisters Club of Winnipeg, Leanne loves to volunteer her time when she can. In December 2010, Leanne donated 9 inches of hair to make a wig for those suffering from cancer. Leanne is currently growing her hair out in hopes of making another donation!
