Jacksonville musicians Mike Withrow and David Cooley perform classic rock and blues as an acoustic duo. They also occasionally backup other musicians on guitar, drums and percussion.
The two half-brothers finally got together musically after spending most of their adult lives in different parts of the country. They both moved to Jacksonville a year ago, and have been re-discovering each other's musical interests ever since.
Guitarist David Cooley likes the blues, and has worked some of his favorite songs into the act. "Before You Accuse Me" and "Key to the Highway" come from one of his favorite artists Eric Clapton.
Mike Withrow is a classic rock fan, which shows in his choice of songs like "Call Me the Breeze," Midnight Rider" and "The Weight." Mike also plays drums and percussion on occasion when the duo jams with other guest artists.
Mike and David are currently expanding their set list of classic rock and blues tunes, and adding a few original songs they've written together.
Withrow Cooley are available for booking at acoustic performances on Friday and Saturday nights. Please write to email@example.com for information.
