Back in 2006 three school friends returned to the Coldrooms in Cumnor, Oxfordshire to re-kindle a love for live music and friendship. This brought Ben Hawkins, Dean Chapman and Andrew Taylor back together again after a near five year break from music. This addition of Andrew Golding gave birth to Memory Fade, a highly energetic and gritty hard rock band. After Dean left to work in Thailand the band recruited Albert Jones-Jennings and the hard work really started with live shows being played all over the country. Andrew Golding left the band in 2008 and was subsequently replaced with multi-instrumentalist Simon Goodall. A particular quiet year culminating in a pretty dreadful collection of demo recordings made the band look at themselves seriously and after nearly two years of writing The band return as The Secret Kids with a more melodic ,Pop vibe focusing more on Andrew Taylors enigmatic song writing and the bands love of the quieter side of rock music. That's not to say that the band can't rock!!!!!
