Subtle Fall was started in April of 2008 by Jared Beer, Mike Music, and Bryan Hagan and is based out of Warsaw and Plymouth, IN. The primary goal of the the band is to create a second to none, high energy, Rock & Metal Show every time they step onto a stage!
Rehearsals went throughout the spring and summer of '08 which involved the band writing the first set of Subtle Fall original songs. In August of 2008 Subtle Fall performed their first show as a band at a children's benefit weekend festival in Celina, OH. From then on they started booking shows and performing almost nonstop at clubs throughout Michiana and Western Ohio, building on their aggressive live show while creating a solid following in their region.
In April of 2009, the band was invited to play an original music showcase at Piere's Entertainment Center in Fort Wayne, IN. At this show the band recorded it's live set, then took it to a studio to master 5 songs. That resulted in the release of the first Subtle Fall EP titled "Subtle Fall: Live at Piere's". The tracks were available for download at SubtleFall.com and CD's were available at their Live Events.
Soon after the release of the Live EP, the band was contacted by National Booking Agency. After negotiations, Subtle Fall was signed onto their artist roster and the company started to shop the band nationally to different venues and touring lineups. In June of 2009, Subtle Fall was presented with an offer to be the direct support band for the Brazilian Metal Band "Shadowside" on their Fall '09 "Wake Up Screaming" US Tour. The band accepted the tour offer, and subsequently decided to head to the recording studio to Record their first Studio EP.
Starting in July 2009, the Subtle Fall went in to "T Bush Record Plant" in Syracuse, IN and started working with Tim Bushong on their new EP to take on the road. The project was completed just a few short weeks later, resulting in Subtle Fall's first studio recording; A 5 Song EP titled "End of Existence".
In Late August of '09, they packed a van full of intruments and band merchandise and headed out on the road. They met up with their tour mates, Shadowside, in central Ohio and continued to tour for several weeks in major cities such as: Columbus, OH; Pittsburg, PA; Huntington, WV; Cincinati, OH; Detroit, MI; Chicago, IL; Champaign, IL; Ottumwa, IW; Madison, WI; and several other smaller cities and venues in between over the following weeks. The "Wake Up Screaming" Tour came to a close with the final show at Pittsburgh's Hard Rock Cafe on the Riverfront in Pittsburgh, PA.
After Subtle Fall came off the road in late fall of 2009, the band had several local venue live shows to perform until finally deciding to take a short break in early 2010. That year saw Subtle Fall slow down a bit, taking big stretches of time off to recharge, while playing just a few live events. In early 2011 the band decided to regroup full time and started rehearsals for what they do best... Rock Live! In March of 2011 the band played its first full show in several months at The Dandelion Bar in Plymouth, IN. Since that show, until present, the band has continued to play numerous clubs throughout the Michiana Region performing their own brand of a High Energy Rock/Metal Show!
The future plans for the band include writing and recording a new full length studio album in 2012, and also performing onstage as much as possible!
