Ive been playing music since I was very young starting on the organ. Ive even took lesson for a time, but being a youngster, I got bored with the lessons and just learned to create things on my own. I think in my teens was when I started becoming interseted in guitar when I heard Ernie Isley guitar on "Summer Breeze. and I was hooked . in those days I was also an early Prince fanatic. his funk/rock just fueled my wantiness to play. but I grew up listening to R&B and Funk. and the music of the 80,s as well. the first rock band I ever listened to was the power trio Rush. their sound was big and awesome. I also dug the LA hard rock bands such as Van Halen .,Eddie ,s guitar solo on Michael Jacksons "Beat It" that did it for me and I just wanted to learn how to play like that. I also discovered George Lynch of the band Dokken. His solo on the song "In My Dreams" was the one that did it for me. his chunky funky riffs, blues fury and spontaneous legato soloing just fueled my interest in guitar even more. Ernie Isley and George Lynch are my two main guitar influences. I also got into the highly technical area of the shred era with players like Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony Macalpine , Greg Howe and so on. but all the great players Ive listened to have an inflence on my playing that i hope to share with the world so WATCH OUT , iM COMIN !
