Jessie Goergen is a vocalist and songwriter hailing from the small town of Brookings, Oregon, known for its commercial fishing industry. Goergen, whose roots lie within her family’s deep-sea fishing business, has been crafting her singing and songwriting skills as a recording artist on the Redneck Records label in Nashville, Tennessee.
World-renowned country singer/songwriter Gretchen Wilson owns the label, and has served as one of Goergen’s most influential mentors. Currently, Goergen is songwriting and recording with Grammy-winning country music stars as an up-and-coming artist on Wilson’s label.
Most recently, she has gained live performance experience with her band The Jessie Goergen Crew. With influences ranging from country, rock, pop and jazz music, Goergen has performed on a diverse spectrum of stages, including private events, weddings, and outdoor festivals. Goergen has shared the stage and opened for the biggest artists in Country, Rock, and Pop.
In the summer of 2013, Goergen completed her first full-length album, Anchor Me Down. The collection features nine original songs composed by Goergen, and puts her vocal diversity and lyrical creativity on display.
