Justin Saladino Band / Bio

The Justin Saladino Band is a versatile young trio out of Montreal, Quebec. Their deput EP titled "Sometimes Called the Blues" showcases the band's blues side that uses power, groove and soul to bring the music to an electrifying level. Raw-live feel is apparent throughout all the songs capturing that classic improvisational sound.
The rhythm section is powered by Hans Blichert (bass) and A.J. Aboud (drums). Their roots lie in R&B and Funk genres.
Justin Saladino developed his style through blues and classic rock legends. It is the feel of the blues with modern rock tones that meshes with A.J. and Hans' rhythm to create the unique style of the group.
Performing at le Festival International de Jazz de Montreal in 2012, the group had the opportunity to introduce their original music to their home town. The Justin Saladino Band is in the process of creating an original album that is to be released in 2014.
