DJ Bringles , AKA Ingles, grew up watching Def Jam movies and was heavily influenced by Russell Simmons, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, and Fatboy. He started his mixing and mashing with his parents stereo record player and tape deck in ‘85, then experimented with the guitar in elementary school. Bringles joined a few garage bands, but his formal education in music began in middle school band and continued through high school, including marching band, but with special interest in music theory. These concepts and ideas laid a foundation of understanding in the dual simplicity and complexity in music , leading to an intense study in the layers and production of sound
Relocating to Panama City, Florida in ‘99 put DJ Bringles on a collision course with turntables, and a friend, DJ Panphycde, introduced him to spinning, with the record “7 Cities” and he was hooked. Taking every opportunity to practice and learn, picking up scratching, and relentless drive led to countless gigs at house parties, and beach clubs. He has preformed for crowds all along the East coast and spent some time entertaining and producing in California, and is now back in Florida bringing bass to the masses.
Bringles explains his take on the music he produces and spins live while DJing as “ a living organism that must be nurtured and understood.”, ebbing, growing with the reaction and flowing with the motion of the crowd, syching the beats with the movement until unity is formed. Man and Music are one.
