Born in Charlestown, MA on January 28th, 1996, Dennis Taylor - affectionately known as "Youngblood" - is a 18 year-old Soul/R&B sensation. Since an early age, Dennis has always shown a love for music. And now, at the beginning of his career, that undoubtedly shows.
Inspired by artists to the likes of: Elvis Presley, Teddy Pendergrass, Walter Jackson, The O'Jays, The Temptations and more, Dennis has developed a God-given gift of song. According to his mother, he could hum a tune before he could speak. His love of music has allowed Dennis to remember any song he hears and to teach himself to play four different instruments.
In 2008 - at age 12 - Dennis landed himself his first semi-professional singing gig at the Zelma Lacey House in his hometown of Charlestown, MA. This small performance guided Dennis on his journey. Now performing all around, Dennis has been living his dream come true.
In July of 2012, Dennis teamed up with legendary Philly soul producer, songwriter and guitarist/founding member of MFSB, Mr. Bobby Eli (writer of hits such as Major Harris' "Love Won't Let Me Wait" and Blue Magic's "Sideshow"). Dennis and Bobby are currently working on Dennis' debut CD which will revitalize the sounds of Classic Soul & R&B through brand-new original songs; and be released on Bobby's new record label, Groove City Entertainment.
Dennis has had the opportunity to share the stage with many Classic Soul/R&B artists such as: Tavares, Blue Magic, Darlene Love, The Legendary Intruders, Ray Goodman & Brown, Russell Thompkins, Jr. & The Stylistics, Peaches & Herb, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, Candi Staton, and many more.
